There's no place like home for Skyview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Caldwell Cougars on Wednesday as they made off with a 12-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won eight in a row.
Makenna Shamy was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched.
