The Lehigh Christian Academy Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 12th straight defeat. They took a serious blow against West Chester Christian, falling 79-30. Lehigh Christian Academy lost against the in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 70-56 score last time.
Lehigh Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Enzo Gualtieri, who scored 13 points.
Lehigh Christian Academy's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14. As for West Chester Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Lehigh Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Bethlehem Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully the Mustangs like a good challenge. As for West Chester Christian, they will head out on the road to take on the at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
