As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mattes has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brady Schmidt, who scored eight points.
Felicity-Franklin has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Clermont Northeastern, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.
Felicity-Franklin will head out on the road to face off against Blanchester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Blanchester is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Clermont Northeastern, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against East Clinton at 7:00 p.m. East Clinton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 750th, while Clermont Northeastern is ranked 277th).
