After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Country Christian, the Mercy Culture Prep Royals were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They walked away with a 50-42 victory over Inspired Vision.
When it comes to explaining why Inspired Vision lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tyree Sheffield. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points. Sheffield scored a full 59.5% of Inspired Vision's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Gabriel Kalala was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
The win got Mercy Culture Prep back to even at 2-2. As for Inspired Vision, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Mercy Culture Prep will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Waxahachie Prep at 7:30 p.m. Inspired Vision is on the road again on Friday and play against Shelton at 5:00 p.m. on December 1st.
