Camarillo expanded its lead to 29 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored four times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Thomas.
The Scorpions put up 22 points in the third quarter en route to the win. Camarillo scored on a Thomas touchdown run, a touchdown catch by Thomas and a touchdown catch by Thomas in the quarter.
Jack Gerstenberger made a difference for the Eagles. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.
Thomas stood out for CHS in the win. The junior ran for one touchdown and kicked five extra points. He has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 49-15 win for the Scorpions.
The loss comes after Oak Park defeated El Segundo 14-13 last week. With the win Camarillo extended its winning streak to three games.
Oak Park (3-3) goes up against Santa Paula in a Tri-Valley game matchup next week, while Camarillo (4-1) locks horns with Oxnard in a Pacific View game.
