The Willingboro Chimeras waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 50-43 win over Westampton Tech. For Willingboro, this counts as revenge for the 70-40 defeat Westampton Tech walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Westampton Tech's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shakur Anderson, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Willingboro now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Westampton Tech, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willingboro will square off against Florence Township Memorial at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Westampton Tech, they will head out on the road to square off against Pemberton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
