Tess DeZurik was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 assists and eight digs. What's more, she posted three kills, the most she's had over her last six contests.
Falls Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 18 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Oxford Prep lost 3-0 to South Granville on Friday.
While Oxford Prep was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-22.
Falls Lake's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Oxford Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

However, it's not like Oxford Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 12.7 aces.
