There's no place like home for Lake Oswego, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Beaverton Beavers a 5-0 shutout on Friday. For the Lakers, this counts as revenge for the 8-5 victory the Beavers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2018.

The team relied heavily on Carsten Lemon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

Lake Oswego was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .367 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Lake Oswego's record is now 3-6. As for Beaverton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Oswego will challenge Bend at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beaverton, they will head out to take on Southridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Beavers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
