Tipton hadn't beaten Clinton on the road since September 11, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them  on Thursday. The Tigers blew past the Red Tornadoes 3-0. The  win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.
 The home team had won the previous three meetings between Eisenhower and Altus, and Altus kept the tradition alive. The Eagles came up short against  the Bulldogs on Thursday, falling  3-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Tipton's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-18.
 Tipton couldn't quite get it done against Eisenhower when the teams last played  back in October of 2024 as they fell  3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
