Perry Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 60-39 margin over the Clarksville Generals. The Commodores have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Clarksville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tiarra Lewis posted 19 points and three steals. That was a full 48.7% of Clarksville's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Perry Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Clarksville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Perry Central will host Paoli at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarksville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-41 victory against Rising Sun on the 4th.
