Castlewood will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Rye Cove at 7:00 PM. Castlewood come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Castlewood have to be aching after a bruising 6-32 defeat to Holston last Friday.
Meanwhile, Rye Cove were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their match against Thomas Walker. Rye Cove had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the team lost 13-14 to Thomas Walker. The match was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Rye Cove were outplayed the rest of the way.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
