Coosa won the last time they faced Rockmart and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Coosa never let Rockmart on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Coosa's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Rockmart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.

Coincidentally, Coosa and Rockmart will both be playing Armuchee the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
