Ankeny Centennial won the last time they faced Roosevelt and things went their way on Saturday too. The Jaguars came out on top against the Roughriders by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Their offense was headlined by Tatem Schmidt and Sophia Heither, who picked up four kills apiece. Schmidt also shared the team's lead in assists with Maegan Cheeseman: they picked up eight each. Cheeseman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Ankeny Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Roosevelt, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Coincidentally, Ankeny Centennial and Roosevelt will both be playing Ottumwa the next time they take the court. The Jaguars will head out to face the Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Roughriders will host them at 7:15 p.m. on the 14th.
