After flying high against the Montevallo Bulldogs on Tuesday, the Guntersville Wildcats came back down to earth. Guntersville fell to Pell City 46-41. Guntersville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pell City apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.
Pell City was led to victory by Reagan Tarver and Iyana Allen. Tarver scored 11 points along with 5 assists, while Allen scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds. The game was Tarver's third in a row with at least ten points. Jamiriah Hill was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Guntersville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Pell City, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Guntersville will be playing at home against Albertville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pell City and Spain Park will face off at 6:30 p.m. on November 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
