Edgewood came into Friday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Harford Tech on Friday as Edgewood made off with a 64-44 win.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Elkton's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 73-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Havre de Grace.
Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Elkton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Edgewood came up short against the Golden Elks in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 60-55. Can Edgewood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
