Monticello will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Bellevue at 7:30 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Monticello, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Monticello were able to grind out a solid victory over Beckman last week, winning 27-13.
Meanwhile, Bellevue was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were fully in charge, breezing past Camanche 51-12.
Their wins bumped Monticello to 1-1 and Bellevue to 2-0. We'll see which team can carry over they success and which team inevitably falls when Monticello and Bellevue clash.
