Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brownstown Central walked away with it. Everything went their way against the South Ripley Raiders on Monday as they made off with a 10-0 win. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by seven runs or more this season.

Brownstown Central got a massive performance out of Drake Goodpaster, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jaxson Johnson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Brownstown Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Ripley only posted an OBP of .188.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Brownstown Central, bringing their record up to 25-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for South Ripley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

As of now, neither Brownstown Central nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
