The Clifton Central Comets and the Watseka Warriors will face off  at 5:00  p.m.  on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Clifton Central scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Saturday. Everything went their way against Milford as Clifton Central made off with a  75-50 win. The  win was just what Clifton Central needed coming off of a  78-51 loss in their prior  contest.
 Clifton Central found their leader in underclassman  Blake Chandler, who  scored 19 points along with nine  rebounds and four  steals. Those nine  rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aidan Podowicz, who  scored nine points along with ten  assists and three  steals.
 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Watseka beat Donovan 45-40 on Saturday.
 Clifton Central has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Watseka,  the  victory  got them back to even at 6-6.
 Clifton Central was able to grind out a solid  win over Watseka in their previous matchup  back in November, winning  52-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clifton Central since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
