After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverside Christian, the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers were happy to have found some success on Monday. They blew past American Youth Academy 30-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Foundation Christian Academy has posted since November 30, 2023.
Foundation Christian Academy was led to victory by Maddie Rodriguez and Steffi Chilton. Rodriguez scored eight points along with four steals, while Chilton scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals.
Foundation Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for American Youth Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foundation Christian Academy will take on Academy at the Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Academy at the Lakes is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for American Youth Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Brandon Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
