Garfield-Palouse was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to fifth in 1B Southeast (8 Man). The Vikings beat Pomeroy 48-20 earlier in the week.
The Pirates suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after losing to Garfield-Palouse. Pomeroy had been ranked 23rd, but fell to 28.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Sunnyside Christian and Colton/Pullman Christian. The Knights enters the game ranked 19th in the state, while the Wildcats ranks 20th.
Liberty Christian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Colton/Pullman Christian, 56-8. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Patriots.
