The Marysville Indians suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by Twelve Bridges at home and fell 78-44. Marysville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Twelve Bridges apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Marysville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Josiah Arrington. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Dennis Syders was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Marysville's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Twelve Bridges, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.
Marysville will head out on the road to face off against Wheatland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wheatland is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home. Twelve Bridges will take on Sutter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Sutter is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.7 points per game.
