Courtlyn Dousay was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katie-Grace Quinn, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Abby Addison was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
