The Plano Reapers had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They blew past Somonauk/Leland 62-33 at home. Considering Plano has won four games by more than 20 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Plano was led to victory by Chloe Rowe and Josie Larson. Rowe dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Larson dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Larson has scored at least 25% of Plano's points. Sanai Young was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 7 assists and 7 steals.
Plano has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Somonauk/Leland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
