Largo is 0-10 against East Lake since February of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Packers will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Largo made easy work of Canterbury and carried off a 14-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Packers.
Anna Ellis was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Ellis was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

In other batting news, Vera Hall was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Bella Morrison, who went 3-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, East Lake got themselves on the board against Sickles on Monday, but Sickles never followed suit. They blew past the Gryphons 10-0. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Gryphons: they've now won five in a row.
Like Largo, East Lake also got a great game from a two-way player: Lucy Mondok. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Mondok was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ali Sheffield, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Meagan Bostak was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
East Lake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sickles only posted an OBP of .000.
East Lake now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Largo, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
