Fall River won the last time they faced Montello and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Hilltoppers. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Connor Veith was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Veith was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaden Seim, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Julian Ramczyk was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Fall River has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games.
