Despite the loss, Big Sandy still got an impressive performance from Garrett Cagle, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Seth Green, who scored five points.
McEwen pushed their record up to 13-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Big Sandy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
McEwen will head out on the road to challenge McKenzie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in McKenzie's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
