The Palmer Trinity Falcons are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against the Coral Reef Barracudas at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Palmer Trinity's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart as Palmer Trinity made off with a 12-0 victory. The Falcons have beaten the Cyclones the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cyclones has come to flipping the script.
Hailey Rodriguez made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mela Fajardo, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Kinsey Cerda was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Palmer Trinity was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart only posted a batting average of .133.
Meanwhile, Coral Reef put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against American by a score of 4-0.
Erin Zambrano looked comfortable as she tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Coral Reef saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlotte Diedrick, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Coral Reef pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs over those games. As for Palmer Trinity, their record now sits at 2-0.
