The Randleman Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ledford Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Randleman didn't have too much trouble with Asheboro at home as they won 64-47. With that victory, Randleman brought their scoring average up to 54.5 points per game.
Randleman relied on the efforts of Chenleigh Robinson, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals, and Audra Petty, who scored 24 points along with 8 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Petty has scored at least 25% of Randleman's points. Another player making a difference was Kadie Green, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Ledford had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 40-29 victory over West Davidson on Tuesday. The squad ran away with 30 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.
The losses dropped Randleman to 1-1 and Asheboro to 0-4.
Randleman didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Ledford in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 41-36 win. Does Randleman have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ledford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
