St. Mary's may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday they take on West Bend-Mallard at 7:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, St. Mary's and West Bend-Mallard will really light up the scoreboard.
Everything went St. Mary's' way against Harris-Lake Park last Friday as they made off with a 60-26 victory. The success represented a nice turnaround for St. Mary's, who in their last game suffered a tough 12-49 loss.
Meanwhile, West Bend-Mallard put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 40-6 margin over Kingsley-Pierson.
St. Mary's took the contest and then some with a 44-6 win the last time the two teams met over West Bend-Mallard. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
