If Red Oak was feeling good fresh off their 76-37 takedown of Terrell last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Oak Hawks took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars. The Hawks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Midlothian Heritage can attribute much of their success to Brianna Finch, who posted 13 points. That's the most points Finch has posted since back in November. Another player making a difference was Danaya Hicks, who earned seven points.

Red Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Midlothian Heritage, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Red Oak will take on Kaufman in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midlothian Heritage, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars challenge the Corsicana Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
