The Panther Creek Catamounts waltzed into Tuesday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Cary at home to the tune of 75-39. That looming 75-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Panther Creek yet this season.
Chris Uwayo was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Logan Ware was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Panther Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Cary, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
Panther Creek will head out on the road to face off against Green Level at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Level is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Cary will be home for the holidays to greet Apex at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Apex presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cary in North Carolina (Apex is ranked 243rd, while Cary is ranked 497th).
