It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Huntingtown had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They won by a  run and slipped past the Glenelg Gladiators  3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Hurricanes sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
 Jordyn Greever spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 19 consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Madisyn Williamson, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Huntingtown's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Glenelg,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at eight games  and leaves them with a 14-4 record.
 Coming up, Huntingtown will take on Decatur on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Hurricanes 0.8, the Seahawks 1.7) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Glenelg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
