Even though they lost, Hernando Christian Academy's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.5 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Despite the loss, Hernando Christian Academy had strong showings from Caydon Williams, who scored 29 points, and Jaden Montzka, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Carson Hedick was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Hernando Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Florida College Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hernando Christian Academy will take on American Collegiate Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. American Collegiate Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 297 points over their last five contests. As for Florida College Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Foundation Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m.
