The Druid Hills Red Devils posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They blew past Clarkston 61-18 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-8.
Even though they lost, Clarkston smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. This was only their eighth loss (out of nine games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
The win makes it two in a row for Druid Hills and bumps their season record up to 7-10. As for Clarkston, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Southwest DeKalb the next time they take the court. Druid Hills will host Southwest DeKalb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Clarkston will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
