Damon Thompson Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 39 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Latrell Allmond was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds.
Freeman's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for John Marshall, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
Freeman took a serious blow against John Marshall in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 69-42. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Freeman was down 44-21.
