Noah Pollard Delivers Electric Effort Vs Edwards County
Starting off the list is Carmi-White County's Noah Pollard, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Fairfield was led to victory by Israel Sargent, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Sargent's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
On the season, Sargent has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 130.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 15.67 rushing yards per game.
