The Ramsay Rams had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Moody by a score of 40-27 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for Ramsay as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Kameron Keenan was on fire: he threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. Tremell Washington also helped out with an impressive 92 receiving yards.
Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Charlie Johnston, who threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Ka'darius Barnes, who picked up 61 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Ramsay's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.56 points. As for Moody, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.
Ramsay will face off against Guntersville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Guntersville is ranked 30th, while Ramsay is ranked 17th). Moody does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
