Marion has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Walkerville Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walkerville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Marion, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Marion escaped with a win against Crossroads Charter Academy by the margin of a single free throw, 35-34.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Walkerville, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-50 loss to Hesperia on Tuesday. Walkerville has not had much luck with Hesperia recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Marion's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Walkerville, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Marion couldn't quite finish off Walkerville in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 38-35. Can Marion avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
