Despite their  loss, West Florida saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Kamora Harris, who  posted ten  points, was perhaps the best of all.  Amani Bartholomew was another key player,  putting up four points and five  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, West Florida  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in 20 consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Foley's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They were just a bucket shy of victory  and fell  43-42 to Daphne.
 West Florida's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Foley, their  loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 20-3.
 West Florida came up short against Foley in their previous meeting  back in December of 2024, falling  57-48. Can West Florida avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
