Nicolas Martini made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run and two runs. He has become a key player for New Fairfield: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-4 otherwise.
