California City is 8-2 against Frazier Mountain since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Ravens will head out to face off against the Falcons at 3:15 p.m. California City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.
California City will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Boron, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Ravens never let the Bobcats get on the board and left with a 21-0 win on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Ravens considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Nevaeh Ramirez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Ramirez was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cheyenne Roth, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Makayla Haggins, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
California City kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Boron only managed one hit.
Meanwhile, Frazier Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Boron, falling 27-17. On the bright side, the 17- run effort marked the Falcons' highest-scoring game to date.
California City has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Frazier Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Everything went California City's way against Frazier Mountain when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as California City made off with an 18-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
