 Ayush Patel and  Kane Shellhouse did most of the damage at the plate:  Patel  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Shellhouse  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs and four  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  Shellhouse a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Emmanuel Lewis, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Dothan was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carver Montgomery only posted a  batting average of  .000.
Dothan pushed their record up to 16-8 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs across that stretch. As for Carver Montgomery,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Dothan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolverines: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
