While it was all tied up 25-25 at halftime, the Yerington Lions were not quite the Ashland Grizzlies's equal in the second half on Thursday. The contest between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Yerington falling 66-51. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Yerington still got an impressive performance from Kp Picotte jr, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noah Thom, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
Yerington now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Ashland, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Yerington will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Spring Creek at 12:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Ashland, they will square off against Incline at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
