Pateros can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 50-43 win over Cascade Christian Academy. The win was just what Pateros needed coming off of a 55-34 defeat in their prior matchup.
Curlew suffered their biggest defeat since December 30, 2023 on Saturday. They suffered a rough 75-49 loss at the hands of Inchelium. Curlew was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-26.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Logan Thompson, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven White, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Pateros' win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Curlew, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Pateros might still be hurting after the 58-32 defeat they got from Curlew when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Thankfully for Pateros, Nicholas Baker (who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
