Richmond is a perfect 4-0 against Carrabec since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bobcats will welcome the Cobras at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Richmond was able to grind out a solid victory over Telstar, taking the game 6-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.
Brady Alexander spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Zander Steele was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cody Fournier, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Carrabec not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 27, 2024 (when they won 12-0). Everything went their way against Greenville as they made off with a 17-6 win.
Zack Davis made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Davis was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
In other pitching news, Noah Lightbody looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit.
Back at the plate, Logan Caldwell was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Jackson Newton was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.
Richmond pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Carrabec, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Richmond took their win against Carrabec when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 15-1 score. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cobras turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
