Affton has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Seckman Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Affton will be strutting in after a win while Seckman will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Affton was able to grind out a solid win over Villa Duchesne, taking the game 42-29.
Affton relied on the efforts of Emma Grana, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds, and Amelia Wilson, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Grana continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Melody Olesia, who scored two points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Seckman was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 47-41 to Festus.
Affton's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. As for Seckman, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
