The Calvary Christian Spartans will head out on the road to  square off against  the Franklin Monroe Jets  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Calvary Christian focused on turnovers this week  as the team gave up 18 on Saturday.
 Last Saturday, Calvary Christian ended up a good deal behind Waynesfield-Goshen and lost  61-44. The Spartans have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the  defeat, Calvary Christian got top-tier performance from   Philip Davie, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and nine  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Ezekiel Wylie, who  earned ten points plus five  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Franklin Monroe made easy work of Randolph Southern  on Tuesday and carried off  a  52-27 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Jets.
 Calvary Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Franklin Monroe, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
