Fountain Valley and Edison are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Barons will be playing at home against the Chargers at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Fountain Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Newport Harbor a 10-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Barons considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
