 In what's become a running theme this season, Xavier College Prep gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. They never let Sunnyside onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win. Xavier College Prep's victory was all the more impressive since Sunnyside was averaging only 3.1 runs allowed on the season.
 The result came thanks to  Angie Falls's shutout, as she gave up just one  hit and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Lauren Putz was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sofia Zielinski, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Hamilton beat Corona del Sol 6-2  on Wednesday. That's two games straight that Hamilton has won by  exactly four  runs.
  Liliana Russo looked comfortable as she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Isabella Clapp, who  went 4-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Kate Vance, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 Xavier College Prep is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 25-4-1 record  this season. As for Hamilton,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 21-9.
