Liberty Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Minutemen at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Liberty Christian has five straight wins, Liberty has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Josh Hall made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hall was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bryce Torres, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Eston Tanner, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Liberty came up short against Jefferson Forest on Friday, falling 12-2. The match marked the Minutemen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Liberty Christian's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
Liberty's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Liberty Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Liberty, though, as they've been averaging only 3.2 strikeouts. Will Liberty Christian keep running through batters, or will the Minutemen buck the trend?
